LSAC Justice Hour
Featuring the AALS Law Deans Antiracist Clearinghouse Project
Monday, June 22, 2020, 3-4 p.m. (ET)
The year 2020 will be known not only for the COVID-19 pandemic that swept across the globe but also for the antiracist protests that focused attention on police brutality and the unjustified killings of George Floyd, Tony McDade, Breonna Taylor, and far too many others whom were taken from us way too soon. All of us in legal education, among many hundreds of thousands of people and institutions, are asking what we can do to stop the killing of black people and dismantle institutional racism.
On Monday, June 22, from 3-4 p.m. ET, we will host a live stream discussion with a panel of law school deans who are working to create a space for our collective voices to engage their institutions in the fight for justice. Join us to learn more about the AALS Law Deans Antiracist Clearinghouse Project, the resources curated for learning, and the actions law schools can take to lead the charge for true racial equality in legal education and the profession.
